Ann and I went to the LA Flower Market to get some flowers so she could make design prototypes for her new business. We had so much fun and everyone was so nice--does working with flowers just make you nicer than the rest of us? I scrapped two of these photos on a different page that was just about her flower arranging skills but I wanted to do a layout for my chronological album that captured more of the spirit of this fun day!

Acetate flowers: Heidi Swapp
Paint: Making Memories
Brad: Creative Imaginations
Fonts: Bookman Old Style and Castellar
Technique: I love, love, love all the clear acetate stuff by Heidi Swapp! On this page, I accented the edges of two flowers with two different colors of paint, then layered them to give the effect of a fuller bloom.
