I made this layout for the Halloween Horror movie contest started by Melinda. My hidden journaling reads as follows: The movie was made in 1968, I was only 12 at the time and was not allowed to see it. But a few years later, when I was 16, I did read the book, by Ira Levin, and watch the movie. Both really scared me because they were creepy, sinister, and chilling, but not outright violent. Given the subject matter, can you imagine how this film must have come across to viewers in 1968? I can see why my mom wouldn't let me see it when I was 12! I liked how the script, through its plot and dialogue, implied and suggested eeriness. Not until near the end do we, like Rosemary, find out the presumed truth. I loved the acting and the very 1960-ish clothes and hairstyles.
