Cocoa Daisy’s sketch* prompted me into sitting down in my office again this afternoon. I was hesitant at first, as circular photos scare me. However, I’m pleased with the final result – some adjusting of the letters was required, but that is all. And I’m pleased to say that this is my layout no. 333 since I was introduced to the hobby back in 2008.
The photo is from last week. I was reading in the sun, really enjoying the book (The Drowning Girl: A Memoir, by the way, by Caitlín R. Kiernan*). Photo and mat hand cut (my Cameo has been packed down in anticipation of our move in two weeks). I cut up a few paper doilies and added them to the back of the brown mat, since no doily I have is large enough.
