The arrival of the Donga.

You have created a very wonderful and interesting layout. And thanks for explaining what a donga is. I kinda thought I knew by the looks of it, that it was a storage building or an office space thing. It will make a wonderful place for the model trains. I can't wait for you to scrap some pages of the model trains.

Yes. A Donga is a modular or demountable building. There are used a lot on camp sites for accomodation and offices but my son is using his for his model trains. This one is 40 ' long , and his train layout runs around the walls, some nearly 100'. YES I will scrap some pages of it.. it's pretty awesome as everything is being built from scratch. He's a very talented lad.. LOL. TFL Angela.

Such wonderful page - I didn't know the word "donga" either - love how you cut it out of corrugated cardboard - love your masking, gears and stitching - glad it made it to you safely - I'm wondering how you are going to use it, since you already have a house on the property ~

this is really cool, i love it. The bg is just wonderful with the different shades, and the darker parts on top make terrific contrast with it. Especially the harlequin shapes!

This is a beautiful page and you captured the event wonderfully. I did have to look up the word "donga" as I wasn't sure what it meant, which translates to modular building.
