A card for my Uncle Wilson who's a stunning 96! I used more "masculine" colors for the alcohol ink work (orange, yellow, and denim with a touch of gold). Then I embossed the panel, so that if older eyes couldn't see as well, his fingers could feel the raised parts, but it was hard to see the words among the busy-ness of the colors, so I highlighted them with Chestnut Roan chalk ink, making them much more visible. A looping of brown-striped twine added another masculine touch, an orange and brown and cream pp against a milk chocolate cardstock - and I was done! Didn't much have to sweat myself on the designing this time, because it pretty much "told" me what it wanted to be!
