Fabric yo-yo flowers and ribbon adorn this card. Customize this beautiful project by choosing the patterns and colors that suit your own personal style best.
Cut patterned paper to size and fold in half to form a card base. Cut a piece of scallop-edged patterned paper to fit across the card front and adhere in place. Emboss a piece of cardstock using the Vintage Lace #2 embossing folder. Trim to size, stamp with a sentiment and adhere to the card front. Wrap a ribbon around the card and tie into a bow. Embellish with twine and a button. Die-cut two 3 1/2" circles out of two different fabric prints and with a large basting stitch, turn over and sew an approximately 1/4" hem around the edge. Draw the thread up as tight as you can and tie off. You have made a yo-yo. Arrange so the hole is in the center. Repeat to make a second yo-yo. Sew a button in the center of each of the yo-yo flowers. Attach the yo-yos to the card front. Finish by adding a resin embellishment near the yo-yo flowers.
