Thank you so much for sharing these photos. I would have loved to been there watching. It is so colorful and the message is so strong. It really does remind us of the best and worst of humanity.
The parade is a huge to-do in Whiteriver, G and I got there are 6:45 to claim our spot for the 9:00 am parade. It lasted two hours, most of the participants are the local royalty, of which there are many, and crown dancer groups from the different nearby Apache tribes. Earlier this year the nine different Apache tribes formed an alliance and so every float bore the slogan "Apaches united we stand, looking forward with dignity." It was a really powerful message.
