It would be a joy to look through your heritage albums not only to see these amazing old photos but also to see the precious way you treat each one! (I’d also like to have access to your dies because you have bunches of beautiful ones!)
Love the green and the die cut is perfect with her heead piece or flowers(?). It is nice to see the wedding photo and then the older age still handsome couple. Beautiful work!
I have a photo of my husbands grandparents in the same configuration. Him sitting her standing. It was the first time she ever touched him, her hand was on his shoulder.
So Beautiful! I new when I first saw this page it was DCWV French Country collection. It has to be one of my all times favorite paper stacks and you use the papers wonderfully. I love the die cut fan and the ribbon holder. Those must be your new ones. Great choices.
This is Ben Thomas and Lizzie or Alma as she was sometimes called. I did not originally intend to make this a two page but then found a later photo that I thought made this more interesting. Ben was nick-named Big Ben and I think he is seated in both photos because he towers over his petit Lizzie. They are interesting because he was a coal miner and a Superintendent of a cola mine. Lizzie was born in Germany and immigrated when she was about five years old. They married in 1899 and the back photo is around 1930.
All the papers are from DCWV French Country Stack Cherry blossom die cuts on the back are a combo of Frantic stamper Cherry blossom and Spellbinders.
