I remember when we were there. I knew it was St. Peter's Basilica but until I saw the area above his tomb, it really didn't click that this was the St. Peter, Jesus' beloved disciple, the apostle Peter to us Southern Baptists - all the same holy man of God. The basilica was beautiful but I didn't explore it that much. I just want to stand at the place above where St. Peter was buried. I was in absolute awe. It is a magnificent church! Next time I want to do the tour under the Vatican - that is on my bucket list!
I sound like a broken record but your double is absolutely gorgeous. You chose the most elegant papers to really accentuate the beauty of the cathedral so well.
