One more post from my Jan. art lessons, this is called Happy Heart and it was a gratitude exercise. What I really like about this one is that its done entirely in watercolors and inks! Tom Bow Markers to be exact and those are some vibrant colors that are totally unforgiving. Its been fun just working with the mediums to get a feel for how they perform. Love my Tom Bows and watercolor crayons are so awesome. I was so scared to work with markers and ink, and even though they aren't forgiving like acrylics, they are so much more translucent and vibrant they almost create a stained glass effect. Well some students make them look that way, but I have a ways to go! lol Thanks for stopping by, your comments are so appreciated!
