Sounds like a wonderful weekend. Love the punched edge on the paper you used for your journaling spot. The entire lo is fun, full of memories and showcased/scrapped perfectly. (I remember the days I had to HAUL on my scrap stuff to the dining room table - so glad I have a room of my own now).
How fun. It is a wonderful memory to capture. It did remind me of the old days of scrapping when we went to crops and hauled all the plastic tubs in for the day and evening. It was fun but I'm not sure how much scrapping I actually did. LOVE the border of stamped cameras.
What a heartwarming double page! First of all, I LOVE your journaling! I can feel how you enjoyed your scrapping and being together! So great memory! Love your project very much!
Sarah looks like a baby! LOL! I love the two pager...looks like y'all had a great time. I can't imagine moving all that stuff! Great design and you've managed to include lots of photos! Love it!
I love the story behind this layout! I love it when I can do things a little differently at home because I'm not accommodating everyone's needs an wants at the same time; a nice break from the routine! Love the row of stitched cameras and the way you included, and framed, your dog's photo!
These are photos of me and my dd Sarah way back in May of 2004. She was about 15 yrs old year and had just gotten into scrapping. Whoa, I can't believe it's been over 16 years! I can still remember lugging all that stuff from the back end of the house in my bedroom to the other end (good thing I didn't have nearly as much as I do now - LOL!!!) I remember Sarah made homemade bread and I made Coq a Vin. With us having four kids, it was so rare for Sarah and I (and Molly - our Jack Russell) to have that kind of time alone... it was wonderful.
Journaling reads: While Jerry took the boys out of town for the weekend to a Promise Keepers conference, Sarah and I had the house to ourselves. We pulled all of our scrapping supplies up to the living and dining rooms so we could watch movies while we scrapped. We also cooked all our favorite recipes that the boys don't like. It was such a fun weekend. Although, I'm not sure we got a whole lot of scrapping done.
