What a funny name for a cat and thanks for asking! So my mother had just died and there were two cars of family heading to visit our brother's house and my sister Judi's car stopped running. I was in our car with my 5 year old son Victor and I was nursing my 2 1/2 months old baby Adam. Feeling so sad that my mother would never see him become the young man he is today, nor see Victor as the wonderful husband and father that he has become. We were at least thankful that the car broke down before we got on the San Francisco Bay bridge. My sister got out of her car and heard a tiny meowing coming from a bush and after being scratched grabbed the kitty and took it to her car to keep it warm. The poor little kitty was all by itself right next to the freeway! The guys determined it was a freeze plug leak and used Pour & Go Sealant and we were good to go!
I started thinking we would be keeping the cat because my brother James was allergic and sister Judi had already said she wasn't taking it. So I told Victor we would be taking the kitten home to our cats Sneakers and Paws as well as our dog Toto. He got excited and we talked about names, when he said what about Elliot? We had just seen Pete's Dragon and the dragon is named Elliot and we thought it was a perfect name. All of the adults in the family called him Elliot Freeze Plug because that was what stopped the car and we were able to save Elliot. Plus we wanted to think our mother had a hand in us finding the kitten! Thanks for looking!
