The designs on there cards are super cute and I just couldn’t wait to try them out with my Pink and Main MINC (not new). I had just received 2 new transfer folders to create a beautiful foil. I use 3 of the Picket Fence foil-able and all 3 had very sketchy, blotchy images once foiled. I thought that maybe it was the heat setting or foil itself and kept trying to make it work. One of my brand new transfer folders was destroyed in the process. Just to ensure it wasn’t me, the machine, or the foil, I tried another foil-able image from a different brand and it foiled perfectly the first time.
Super disappointed as Picket Fence is actually one of my favourite brands.

This was one of the most difficult containers that I have ever had to open. Even my 2 sons could not open the jar. Super disappointing and am about to throw it out for this reason.

This layering elephant die set by Altenew absolutely ROCKS!!! Super easy, numbered, notched dies to accurately line up are so adorable and realistic looking too. I have yet to glue them together but I can tell already that this will be a fan favourite for baby card or safari themed cards. I purchased the giraffe die set as well but have not die cut out yet, assuming it will be just as stellar as this one. Well done Altenew and please create more of this type of die!!

I actually really love the colour of Honey Bee Gold Ink and I purchased the re-inker as well thinking that I would be set for a very long time. The colour itself is a gorgeous brushed, antique gold that I have used on several of my projects. It is the ink pad that seems to be the problem and not holding out nearly as well as many of its competitors. Strands and small chunks of the ink pad material have been coming apart or off of the box and I haven’t had it in use for that long. Despite the uniqueness and versatility of the colour, I am unlikely to purchase this product again. Too bad as the brilliancy of projects with the gold really make the project pop.

A really nice addition to book themed projects for the book lover in your life.
This stack of books did take me several tries to colour it properly with Copic, Tri Blend, & Chameleon Markers although I am still learning these colouring techniques. This will be a staple in my die stash!

I really love the concept of the Tonic Studio Pocket Shaker Creators as they do the job of fully sealing off all of the tiny, glittery shaker elements. I have tried both the 6x6 and 5x7 sizes. I love the wide seals that you will just need to peel off of the back on all four sides to secure the project. They really do hold everything in place.
The two reasons as to why I am not awarding 5 stars is that unlike other brands, these covers lack a protector film on both sides (neither side has one, I hunted for at least 10 minutes prior to realizing that they didn't exist. As a result, the cover didn't look as clear as other brands to which I have previously used. Secondly, I realized upon completion with both the 6x6 and 5x7 sizes that the finished project was actually slightly larger than the 6x6 and 5x7 card. It wasn't a problem for me with my 6x6 shaker as I had planned to use a 7x7 card base for the gift but with my 5x7 shaker, I needed to create a custom card base for the right fit.
I love shaker cards -- flat, stacked, and now pocket shaker cards. Just keep in mind that you might need a larger base for your card and that there is no protective film on the covers so handle with care.

I purchased my stamping platform however just used it for the first time today. I did watch a "How To" on You Tube and the demos given were quite clear. I have not used any other braded stamping platform toward comparison purposed but have been using acrylic blocks and free handing too with ok success. The price-point of this product was in the crafting world, moderate although there are extras to purchase potentially making this a steeper investment longer term (sticky sheets, stencil adaptors). I have only used the stamping mechanism and likely will continue to do just this so for my purposes will likely be enough.

This isn’t the Christmas apenny Black stamp set that I ordered. The one I had specially purchased had a stamp with the saying “if kisses were snowflakes I’d send you a blizzard”, in the package. No fault to the stamp themselves but to the one picking and packing my order. The stamp set had just arrived back in stock and they seem to be completely out again. Too bad and the stamp sets are very expensive.

I just received this stencil by Visible Image a couple of days ago and couldn’t wait to try it out “mad Here” did not disappoint. Super excited to use it on various projects in the neater future!!
