Product Questions for Elizabeth Craft Designs - Mylar Shimmer Sheetz - Iris

I purchased these sheets to use with my sequin(s) die & die machine, to make my own sequins. To avoid scratching the surface of the sheets- I was told to layer it between scrap paper & then run it through the machine. I haven't tried it yet, but others swear by it! I hope it does work out well b/c I love the idea of being able to do my own sequins, since this is the same material that mass produced sequins are pretty much made of.
