    • We do not know of the size on the Wendy magnets. However, Tonic offers two different magnets that work with various stamp platforms, including the Tim Holtz product. Item #4506e is a pack of two round magnets and 4507e is two bar magnets. By: Tonic Studios (29-Dec-22) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. • I purchased Static Cling EZ Mount mounting foam and attached it. That way it could be used with the clear blocks also. The EZ mount was the gray, not black.
Also, I put a piece of fun foam found in the craft departments, first on the bottom of the platform, brings the paperr up a bit to meet the stamps. By: DorothyL (03-Nov-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Is this the same product as StampinUps Stamparatus?   By: Parkseconddaugter (21-Mar-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
This question is about a related product.
    • No, but very similar. Their purpose is exactly the same, however. I think the biggest differences are 1) the Stamparatus is only available from Stampin' Up, 2) the Stamparatus comes with two top plates rather than one, and 3) the Stamparatus can be moved in increments to create some interesting effects. However, the Stamparatus doesn't have a placement feature for clear vs rubber stamps and comes with a stamp pad for aid in that respect. You can use one with the Tim Holtz platform, too, but I haven't found that to be something I need, yet. Maybe with inexpensive clear stamps from foreign countries since they tend to be thinner, but all my stamps are from good companies and I've not yet had any issues. Honestly, I'd say go for the Tim Holtz platform while you can get it in the USA, the quality is excellent, and while Scrapbook.com has them, you will not find a better price anywhere. I have the Tim Holtz standard platform and I have two of the travel platforms. I love them. I may pick up the Stamparatus in the future (not for stamping reasons, but as a "statement," which I will not go into here), but my Tim Holtz platforms are perfect for my needs and I'm very happy with them. • Love my Tim Holtz platform no complaints. I have not purchased a MITSI so I'm not able to compare, very Happy with TIm Holtz Platform. By: zcharm56 (30-Jan-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Hello,
Both products utilize cling stamps. However, the Tim Holtz Platform offers many advantages over other products. These advantages can best be answered if you call Tonic at 844-866-4287. We can then explain all these differences to you. Please note that Tonic is located in California if you are calling from the mid-west or east coast. • Which do people prefer the larger or smaller platform? I’m pretty new to stamping.   By: shawnie (12-Mar-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

    • I am mostly into card making, and I find the travel platform is the one I use regularly. However, I have both sizes of platforms and I very much enjoy both. the larger platform is good for 12x12 card in particular, but I really don't scrapbook or journal a lot. Honestly, for the prices here at Scrapbook.com, you can get both sizes for less than the next comparable platform, which I would say is maybe the Stampin' Up Stamparatus. I would get them, or whichever size you think you would like best, as soon as possible, as once the stock has been depleted they won't be available in the US, Canada, or South America anymore, only overseas. • Help! My rubber stamp won’t cling to the “lid”, for lack of a better word. I have it flipped so the word rubber is on the top left, but it won’t pick up my stamp. My red rubber stamp is mounted on cling cushion with an image sticker attached. Should I use something to help it cling? Are there certain brands that don’t cling? Does the grid texture interfere with cling-ability? Help!   By: LeslieDJ (05-Feb-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

    • I clean the back of the stamp with a baby wipe and then I add a light coat of Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over Liquid Glue. Let it dry about 30 min. It will remain tacky and this should help. I keep this on hand for when I remove stamps from the wood blocks to use in my "Misti, TH stamp platform, or my Hampton one that is no longer made. Hope this helps, and keep on stamping :) By: lanagram (08-Feb-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

Do you still plan on stocking and selling the Tim Holtz/Tonic Stamp Platform? As far as I can tell your pages on this site state they are out of stock, no longer available and available/or coming in June. I am confused, will we be able to purchase it through your site? • If using the clear stamps, do you need to insert a foam pad to stamp. If so, any recommendations? I'm new to this and heard that you are to use a foam stamp pad when stamping to get better impressions. Thanks.   By: christined2 (30-Aug-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • The Stamp Platform does not need to a foam insert. The top of the tool (lid) is duel purpose and you can reverse to use with either the clear acrylic or cling mount stamps. This appears to me to be a standard rubber stamp like the Stampers Anonymous stamps. So you should have no issues.
