I just bought several of the storyline collection however seeing this video I am concerned the rods will not hold the books in place!!!! Are they sturdy????

Hello! The album and rods work together well. The top/bottom of the album has tracks which (1) keep the rods inserted and (2) allow the rods to slide back-and-forth. In order to remove a rod, you have to bend it slightly, and then you pull the rod out of its track (top or bottom) first; then it releases easily from the opposite track. This is not difficult to do. Inserting a rod is the reverse process.
