This six piece Hidden Gems Cosmic Watercolor Set is part of the Where To Next Collection designed by Vicki Boutin for American Crafts. This set includes five metallic, highly pigmented watercolors and one watercolor brush. The paints come in shades of white, red, gold, teal, and purple. These colors look gorgeous together and can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects.
Like many iridescent products, this is just beautiful on black paper. Can also stamp with it to make a background paper, like so:
- make a patch of fairly thick watercolor on a piece of plastic or a plate
- not too much water
- press your stamp into it
- lightly press stamp onto black paper, and hold a moment
- will look more vibrant when it dries (in moments)
Very pretty!
I love the colours in this palette, they are SO pretty! The watercolours are shimmery with a metallic sheen. They're creamy and lovely. I'm not fabulous with watercolouring, but these make me want to learn!
