The Black Small Brush Pen Set by Kelly Creates for American Crafts is definitely a set that you will want to have on hand at all times! Included in the package are 3 black markers fine tip, medium tip and large tip that are acid free and non-toxic.
I am just starting to learn brush lettering and these pens are so easy to use.
The large pen is far too large for my personal preference - it doesn't really create thin lines when writing. Meaning it's really hard to create a difference between the down strokes and up strokes for caligraphy. The medium pen is probably the best as far creating a difference between the down and up strokes. The fine pen works ok too but felt pretty dry. If you are just learning how to write modern caligraphy for the first time, these pens will be good for you. Once you've learned and have found your style, I would strongly recommend a different type of pen. Especially for felt nibs.

How much difference is there between the small brush pens and the large ones? Is the size of the tips smaller, creating smaller letters? I would like to see a comparison of a word written in each to show the difference. I want the words to be small enough to fit onto handcrafted cards, and the demo showed the large pens which created very large lettering.

I have both but I mostly use the small for my card making unless I want it larger. I am not home right now or I would snap a picture of the tips side by side. Try YouTube's Kelly creates and she has many videos. One might show or she might explain the size difference. Hope it helps. I love these pens.
