I have been exploring with watercolors for about 3 years and have collected several brands and types of brushes. These are awesome!!! The water control is fantastic. I own another watercolor brush (with the water reservoir) that receives rave reviews, and it is great brush but to buy a 6 brush set of those would be very expensive. These are just as good and much more cost effective. NOTE: I recommend using distilled water in your brushes or storing them empty when not in use.
I just love these brushes. I am a beginner when it comes to working with different color mediums; however, as I have watched a lot of tutorials on water coloring and using the different mediums with water I've always thought that too much water was being used. I know that that is just my opinion but, I have achieved the results I wanted without drowning the color medium in water. These brushes give me the control I've always wanted. Love them.
Just received these Vicki Boutin Water brushes.. Haven't used them yet but I know they will be great.. Can't wait to use them.
