You'll love the designs you can create with the Heritage Collection Dies and Stamp set by Crate Paper. The package includes 8 clear acrylic stamps and 6 coordinating thin metal dies designed by Maggie Holmes. The set features images including a swan, ribbons, frames and sentiments including "one of a kind," "best ever," "love you" and "I want you to know how amazing you are." The stamps can be used with your favorite inks and an acrylic block and the dies are compatible with most die cutting machines (sold separately).
First things first: yes, the swan stamp/die doesn't match up since the die is the other way around. However, if you first die cut the swan and then stamp the stamp on the backside of the die cut piece, it works just fine. Not a major issue, especially since it's only the swan. All the other pieces work perfectly fine with the coordinating dies :)
I love how I can mix and match the different die cut elements to create my own layered embellishments and prize ribbons. Besides, the circles are a great staple that you can always use, even without the stamps.
Used in this project: Mini Album with Pocket Punch Board, Book Binding Tool & Maggie Holmes Heritage.
So I went to die cut and stamp out the adorable swan last night and discovered that the stamp and dies do not match up. The die cuts the paper the opposite direction of the stamp design. I also think the bow wreath image is mismatched but I was able to make it work. Hoping to get this resolved quickly. Disappointing but things happen.
since buying this product I can't stop crafting, love every single die cut and stamp in it, another super fun creation.
I absolutely love this set. The stamps stamp well and the die cuts work well too. Yes, the swan has an issue you can read about in other reviews, but it’s not a big deal. You can send the die cut for the swan through your cutting Machine to flatten the edges or use a bone folder. It’s such an inexpensive set for all you get. It’s adorable 💖. I hope she comes out with more stamp/die sets in future collections of hers. I would definitely buy them.
These dies and stamps were not manufactured correctly. They are backwards to each other. Most you can make work but the swan you have to stamp on the backside of the die cut which is the rough cut. This is what American Crafts told me to do when I called them. I said that wasn’t acceptable but they said it would take to long to remanufacture them. Bad bad quality control!
