Save the day and the date with the Rotary Date Stamp from the Saturday Afternoon Collection by 1Canoe2. There is one rotary date stamp included that has years 2014-2025 and rose gold foil accents on the handle.
It is very legible & covers years 2014 - 2025. The footprint of this stamp is small, but due to it's legibility it is perfect for any size or style of planner. The hight of print is less than 1/8th & the length of stamp print is just a hair over 1 inch. This is my new favorite date stamp for my planner.
I wanted a simple, inexpensive, old fashioned date stamp for grandkids to use; but this just doesn’t work. I guess you get what you pay for. Besides being flimsy, I suspect the material is not up to the task of stamping an image. I didn’t expect much for the price, or even that it would live terribly long... but I had hoped we’d get at least a few pages/ projects with dates ; this simply does not stamp a legible date.

As I do vintage projects, is there any way to just get the day and month and no year? Could I put a piece of tape over the year and it wouldn't show up or would the impression still come through even though there's no ink on it?

Unfortunately, this is not sold without the year. However, if you ink the stamp so that no ink gets on the year that should work. Your idea should also work. Just be sure not to press the stamp hard into the paper for either option. Hope this helps!
