It's like a beauty blender or real technique sponge but she wanted her own under her own line ... so there is no significant difference ..... it's like using your finger.... but this sponge is another way to help blend in a controlled way.... from spreading paint down faster but wash the sponge right away if using paint..... works great with her mixed media crayons or the distress line or gelatos and many more crafting items...it a multitasker highly recommend ... but this Vicki boutin color is beautiful...
