We R Makers - Trim and Score Board

found my answer: I came across the original packaging in my craft room and it shows simply SLIDE the blade off at the top...just a little push and it comes right off. The cuts are amazingly clean and crisp, no more jagged edges. Too bad they didn't ship the trim and score boards with a GOOD blade... It really depends on your needs. The newest one has an ergonomic blade holder and slightly larger/bolder numbers for the measurements.

AN UPDATE TO MY POST. I reached out to We R Makers directly (American Crafts). They said, "It has been on backorder for a while, but it has not been
discontinued. We are expecting an order to our warehouse the first week of Aug. We apologize for the delay and hope our retailers will restock when it arrives. Currently, they are not listed on our website but I have asked that they be added when they are available." They sent me images that look like my blades but I sent back additional images for confirmation just to be sure. Because they DO have blades that look like mine on their website and they are simply listed as Out of Stock - and have been listed that way for ages. I'll update if I hear anything further. I don’t know if it is from Creativation 2018, BUT it is by far the best paper trimmer I have purchased. I specifically wanted it for cutting water color paper which tends to be thicker than other paper. And it cuts right thru it the first time. I don’t have to run the blade over it several times and still have to cut it with scissors. The scorer works like a charm too!! I am very happy with this product. I do not know whether this is the product presented at Creativation. However, I did not see this product offered for retail until January 2018. It is an excellent trimmer. However, I use my other trimmer for narrow cuts (less than one inch). Other than that, it is a superior product. I will be purchasing replacement blade in case I need them...but so far, excellent cuts, even through 2 layers of card stock.
