My husband looked at this board and said"Why do need another cutting board; you already have one!" Well, I need this board because a) it is magnetic b) it is so solid it's unbelievable, c) it has ways to cut envelopes and banner pieces that are genius, d) grooves in which to impress the folds anyway I want on a piece of paper, and last of all, cut paper so easily with a measurement that goes to 16 in. It's brilliant!
I got it for the Envelope maker. And for the ability to make my own party supplies or wrapping supplies with ease. But when it arrived the envelope punch broke the moment I removed it from the packaging. I Won't be sending it back as I live in Canada and now have to pay tariffs on US purchases. I still use the board and just cut out the parts the punch would have. It's just lost some appeal now the convenience of it is lacking. A great tool though.
I have many WE R Memory Keeper items - including the envelope maker so wanted to see what all this can do. It is a Christmas gift for a beautiful young lady who doesn't have a large craft room like I do. I am looking forward to giving her this at Christmas. I highly recommend this. To tell you the truth I thought I was going to have a hard time using it but the more I played with it the better I felt about using it. I haven't used everything yet but I love the Works Tool. I would definitely would recommend it to all my friends, actually I have referred it to my craft friends. I was about to get a small score board till I saw a YouTuber use and it was easy for her to use so when I found it here on this website I purchased it. It is worth the money I spent on it.
I’ve only had this tool a few days but I’m using it a lot while making greeting cards.
Shipping was fast and it was packed great which is always appreciated.
The cutter portion of the tool works perfect by making clean, fast cuts on 110# card stock. The score board also scores excellent on the heavy card stock. The ruler portion is accurate.
I am a little disappointed in the stamping portion of the tool. While stamping in the upper center portion of the stamping area it leaves a small area not stamped. I have not tried adding a piece of foam to give it extra cushion. I did add two pieces of extra card stock that did not fix the issue. It is not a game changer for me as I have other stamping devices.
What I do like is having the cutting, score board, hole punch, bow maker and the tools, all in one place on my desk.
I believe you will be happy with this tool. I also believe a piece of foam will help the stamping portion. I just didn’t have a piece at the time I was stamping. It is a nice, sturdy device that I believe will give years of use.
If you have limited space, then you will love this new product. It has an ingenious setup that allows you to cut, stamp, make envelopes, and many other options. Highly recommend this product!
I got rid of 3 other tools which saves so much room in the small space I have. My favorite part is definitely that it is magnetic. So handy! So smart! Highly, highly recommere!
Excellent quality and has everything you need for card and envelope making the only thing that would make it better is if the stamp tool could flip to the side and stay attached instead of having to remove it
I have been sick for two years unable to craft. I am starting to get my things I need to get back in the game. I decided I better get a new cutter and this makes me feel as if I’ve been out of the game for 10 years! I never imagined a cutter could do so much! I had a block of wood with nails and hand written measurements on it that I used for several years to make my bows, this has all of that and you have the option to make double bows - with a cutter!! Lol, I can’t get over it. I can do envelopes, corrugate paper, cards, and stamp!! You can stamp with a cutter! Oh, and it cuts, wonderfully! I feel like a kid at Christmas that is in awe of what they just received. Amazing! Super for those of us with small spaces that need versatility in our tools. Also just a really great cutter.
This All-in-One is so much easier to take when travelling or going to anothers craft studio.
The score board is a little smaller but still does the job needed.
I like having it all in one area and fits well in my travel bag.

The answer to the question about what blades The Works uses confused me. Does it use more than one blade since it has punches for the envelope feature and also the trimmer feature? I realize this is a new tool but I am a new crafter. Clarification would be VERY welcome! Thanks in advance!

You don't replace punches. You can punch through waxed paper if you need to lubricate the punch so it punches more smoothly. Punch through aluminum foil if you need to sharpen the punch edges. Therefore, you only need to purchase replacement blades for the trimmer, not the punches. Hope this helps!

How do you remove the blade to change it. I cannot slide it off the end or lift it off

I watched a video which showed that you slide the blade all the way to the top and then gently lift the blade at the top right. Don't have one, so I don't know for sure.

IF this uses the same blade as their foldable cutting and scoring board, you simply move the blade to the center and gently and slightly lift one side of the blade track, and the blade will pop off. Replace with a new one the same way.

What is the largest size envelope it makes? I have the envelope maker but when making anything about a 5x7 the scoring line doesn't extend to the end of the required paper length. Does this one have an are the come out like the punch board 1 2 3?

Are you meant to stamp on the scoring platform? How can you get a good stamped image that way?

I watched a few YouTube videos on this tool. Yes, you are meant to stamp on the scoring platform. However, I have the same question as to the results. Looks like a great tool in one for those that do not have all the different tools that this is meant to do. Great gift idea for someone just starting out, or for travel.

You can slip another piece of card stock under the card stock you are stamping on. Some video also showed that you can put a thin piece of fun foam under your card stock.

IF this is the same blade as is in their folding cutting and scoring board, the blades are easy to find at Hobby Lobby or JoAnn. Don't have a Michael's nearby, so I don't know about them. It's a WRMK blade -- I've found it in a 2-pack.
