Very Vintage!
“I just love this typewriter from We R! Everything came in working order and is very easy to use. I haven't changed out the ribbons yet though. I love that you can put a whole 12x12 sheet in it and type journaling directly on the page--this is so handy! I love that it feels like a real vintage typewriter too. Depressing keys feels exactly like on my 100+ year old vintage typewriter and that gives you more control over how much ink is transferred to the page. A light press leaves less ink and a good firm punch of a key leaves a very "inky" letter (this may take some trial and error until you get used to it). Though the back end of the typewriter is a little heavy because of the carriage, it is not nearly as heavy as my 100+ year old typewriter. The mint color is so pretty too, and I love that each of the ribbons have two color options on one strip.” – AliceScrapsWonderland

I received this typewriter on January 26th. I got it all set up and the return carriage was defective. It will not return the carriage or advance the roller to the next line. I think it had to be defective before it was shipped. I called Scrapbook.Com and talked to a very nice lady. She said she would send me a return UPS label to send the typewriter back and would send a replacement typewriter. I am waiting for the return label. Leslie Cooper
I love this typewriter. After reading bad reviews I looked it up on Youtube, there I saw a complete guide on how to unpack it and all the functions. Brought me back to a typing class in junior high.
It can type on watercolor paper, and it's retro. You do have to strike each key with force, but I like how it looks inside a hand made card. It's so cool.

My concerns while searching for a typewriter was price, ribbon availability, and of course it needed to actually function properly. I found used typewriters would not meet my three criteria. The We R Memory Keepers typewriter is comparable priced to used, questionably functional typewriters. The added benefit, We R Memory Keepers will function or can be sent back to scrapbook.com.
With this typewriter, I personalized a stamped sentiment. I used washi tape to attach the diecut piece to copy paper, typed my message, and then stamped. Possibilities are endless to alter/add-to stamped sentiments/images. I am happy with this purchase.
When you type you have to hit hard & strong the key for it to type. thats the only thing i did not like about this typewriter.
I absolutely love this!! I love the way it types and the way it transfers to paper and adds something great to my projects, plus the color is perfect! The only thing that could make this better is it being available in a plumy purple color! lol But this item is fantastic!
Love the typewriter. Not just because it was a birthday gift from my hubby but I’ve wanted this one for a long time. It is great quality and of course gorgeous to look at. Typewriter font is awesome!
This came in perfect condition ready to type with. It takes me back to the early 60's when I first learned how to type.....yes on a manual typewriter.
I love the effect you get when typing journal cards for your Bible or memory keeping projects.
I love it.
Delightful
