The Altenew Medium Watercolor Palette is the perfect size for painting on-the-go! The package includes one watercolor palette that is just the right size for mixing your Altenew watercolor paints, Crisp Dye Inks and other water-based media (sold separately). The palette measures 5.75" x 7.75", is smooth and sturdy and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Works really well, paints do not bead. However, the Altenew paints do stain, so it doesnt stay white. So for that reason I gave it 4 stars. Dont know what material would not stain? Perfect size to rubberband to watercolor paints 36 palette. Will buy a 2nd one to use with inks, really like the texture of it. Had they made it slightly smaller it might have fit inside the watercolor paint box. But no problem I always put a rubberband on containers that travel.
I thought I was buying a special watercolor paper. lol
The watercolor palette will work well with paints.
