This paper is very smooth and can be used in a variety of ways. It foils beautifully and also takes ink pretty well. I have not tried it with alcohol inks yet, but I don't think I'll have a problem. I'm not sure if this paper comes in 12 x 12 or 8 X 8, but the 6 X 6 size works well for card backgrounds. I will be ordering more.
I consistently buy Altenew 6x6 paper packs because the quality just can't be beat. The paper is sturdy with some shine and the colors are vibrant. I highly recommend.
