The colors in this collection is perfect for the era that it depicts. The little children are adorable and their expressions are real. The larger paper is perfect for backgrounds or accents. I love the small versions of the larger pages. The paper is thick and easy to work with. There is a great variety in The Best of Beloved collection. You get journaling cards, and coordinating paper in two sizes. Authentic is one of my favorite brands due to the high quality products.
This double sided paper is so pretty. The journaling cards have the cutest designs, as well as, the punch out page of embellishments. It is very nice paper. I will definitely purchase this brand again.

Will the magic mat work with the Empress machine? And if so, what is the sandwich?

Hello. The magic mat will work with the Anna Griffin Empress machine. Starting from the bottom the sandwich is clear cutting plate, magic mat, paper, thin metal die, magic mat. Depending upon the age and wear of your machine you may need to shim with up to 3 pieces of paper under your magic mat or cutting platform to get the best result.
