I love this splat mat! I have inked, embossed, heated, painted, and stickled on it and everything wipes off, well, except the embossing...lol!!! It is thin, so I can work on top of it, but nothing can harm my work surface anymore!!! I leave it on my desk at all times, so it is always there no matter what technique I decide to do. The only problem is that when inking on it, the ink rubs onto your fingers and hands as easily as it wipes off and if you forget this, you can transfer the ink to other items without intending to.
I ordered mine from sb.com and was a little worried that it might not stay flat because it rolls up. It has not been a problem at all. It works just like it's supposed to, NOTHING that I have used sticks to it, it doesn't even stain with ink. The only thing is, if you stamp off the edges of something, you either need another paper under it, or have to remember to wipe the extra ink off of the spat mat so it doesn't accidentally transfer onto something it shouldn't be on.
Over all, I'm very pleased with it.
This splat mat is the best out there on the market!! I can do painting, embossing, glue, and adding expoy to handmade embellishments! In fact, I have found there is nothing that can't do with this mat. This mat is large enough to handle any type of project. It cleans up easily and quickly. After it dries, it's ready for the next project. I have had this product for months and there is no signs of any wear or tear. I would highly recommend this item to everyone who does crafts. Is worth the money, yes!
I recieved this mat in a monthly box that i had gotten last year.. they had run out of another product i had ordered and i got two of these wonderful mats..I am so thankfull i kept both
I just want to tell all mom's out there that this is a great mat for all your kiddo's to do there crafts on including ink's, glitter glue, markers..and the list goes on.
I especially like it for stamping myself...it does clean up very nicely

My scrapping sister suggested this mat to me and it is wonderful! I have it on my work area all the time. It is great for stamping as you can use embossing powder or glitter and the mess stays right on the mat. Clean up is super easy, all I use is a baby wipe to clean it off. Also great when using a heat tool because it protects the surface under it from the heat. Now that I have this I can't imagine how I did without it!
Crafting is streamlined with this tool. I paint on it and any spills, when dry, can be peeled off or moistened and wiped right off. When I use glitter I work on the mat so when finished, I can make the mat into a trough and dump the overspill back into the bottle. I roll my mat up when finished and store it on a shelf. I never worry about hot glue spills; this mat can take it.

I bought a brand new scrap room work table so I immediately ordered this from Scrapbook.com. I'd seen this advertised and looked at the description on Scrapbook.com yet never ordered. When I received my new work table I decided it was time to buy this to protect the new table and make it last. This mat is a good size - not too small, but not so big that it's hard to move it out of the way if needed.
This mat is amazing...you can do anything on this mat. So far I've inked on mine and the ink comes right off with nothing but water and a paper towel! Glue, once dried, just peels or wipes right off. It's also wonderful for trash - since it can be moved easily, you can put all your trash on it and once you're done, just empty it into the trash. I'd highly recommend this mat!
This splat mat is great for my table. No more glue marks or pen marks, and I am creating more because I am no longer afraid of damaging my tabletop. It's very portable and great for crops and classes. I wish I had this with me at a recent crop. Something from the store table got onto my layout, and this would have prevented that. I will always travel with it!

i purchased 2 of these so while one is holding one project i can move on with another one. i just love these they hold up to everything, cleaning is a wiz. it does exactly what it says it wil do, you don't find that very often but it is true. try 1 you will enjoy it and think why did i wait so long to get one!!!!!! enjoy.
