I picked this pack of Basic Grey because I liked the pretty colors. Of course Basic Grey is such high quality paper/cardstock that all the collections make beautiful layouts. I have used most of the Stella Ruby pack and am very pleased with all the patterns and colors. If you like peachy oranges, greens, blues and browns, this pack is for you! (Of course I would recommend Basic Grey is it was a pack of black papers!) -- Good stuff, get it! :)

I love the way all of these patterns look standing alone or with each other layered to create that perfect "look". The colors are so vibrant and rich and add that extra something to each LO. Then again, BG never seems to let me down! The Stella Ruby collection is NO exception!!!! I have used every little bit of scraps just to make sure I can spread the LOVE on everything I make! :)

I viewed the papers on the internet before buying this collection but didn't realize that there are sewing words all over the papers - like sewing patterns. I guess these would be great if I were using the papers for sewing themes, but I'm not. The patterns are otherwise beautiful and the Basic Grey paper is always such wonderful quality. I've used these for a variety of themes including Thanksgiving and soccer pages. They would be perfect if I didn't always feel like I needed to work around covering the sewing words.
