How does the lid latch...does it stay closed? I have something similar but every time I pull it off of the shelf, the latch catches and all of my stuff hits the floor. Also, do ALL of the panels come out. I am looking for something this size and open...no panels. Thank you for your time.

Hello. The lid comes completely off and latches securely on both sides. All of the panels can come out.
