This 8" x 8" Embellishment Pad is part of the African Spirit Collection from The Paper Boutique. This pad features 36 sheets of paper in six designs, you get six of each design. This pad is printed on 150 gsm paper which is lightweight but perfect for layering, matting, and die cutting. These papers include lots of African animals, in assorted toppers, tropical leaves, and many words and phrases. These embellishments can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects.
This paper pad has the most beautifully-done animal art I've ever seen and I love all of the images. The expressions in the animals' and birds' eyes are lovely and they all look alive to me. The way the cut-aparts have the creatures portrayed, with them coming out of the shape they're in adds life and action to the images. The touches of gold are not actually shiny, but they look like they are glowing, which I think is so bright and shimmery, which is a very nice effect. The animals have a sketchy effect to them and I love it.
I can't say enough good about this purchase and I'm completely pleased with it.
