I love this stamp! I made this card for my younger niece because she loves Pocahontas. It's a big stamp that becomes the focal point of the card and nothing else is needed, just her beauty and strength.
She comes with a sentiment that says "She needed a hero, so that's what she became". It's such an empowering message for young girls!
I loved painting her with all the beautiful colorful feathers and ornaments, and added some glitter to the feathers and she makes a unique and attractive card like no other!
This stamp set is lovely. The woman in the image is very graceful and pretty. There were actual female warriors among the Indians. I don't know how the male warriors of those tribes felt about it, but they probably let them be who they were. Who knows? I'm glad I bought this stamp set and like the smaller stamps, which includes two separate feathers, a shadow American Bison, an eagle in flight and a sentiment that says, "She needed a hero so that's what she became." Not so sure I get that, as I don't know how someone can be their own hero. (???) :D
