What is the difference between the crafters workshop modeling paste and their stencil butter?

The Crafter's Workshop Modeling Paste is more stiff than The Crafter's Workshop Stencil Butter. Modeling Paste has the consistency of chilled cream cheese - spreadable but firm. Stencil Butter is more like a bar of room temperature butter - a palette knife glides through it, but it still holds its shape and form. Both media are great for texture and for spreading over a stencil. And both clean easily with water.

Stencil Butter is non-toxic, it's similar to acrylic paint. It conforms to ASTM-D 4236. It's meant for use on paper and other craft surfaces. Not recommended for body art, and absolutely not edible.
