The two fabric journals I ordered were the reason I was so anxious to receive this order. They came nicely packaged, but the journals themselves look very mediocre. Pieces of different-sized fabric sewn together that don't have that shabby, vintage feel that we crafters seek, just sloppy looking. I am not well-skilled when it comes to sewing, but I have since put together a couple of larger fabric books that look much more professionally finished than these do. I have seen a couple of Youtube videos that show these journals when they have been completed. Neither one showed the journal when it was first removed from the package, and now I know why.
It’s alright but I decided I like paper journals better for the type of art I do.
When I ordered this I had no idea it was ALL CLOTH I knew the front and back was cloth but not through out the entire journal. I live a challenge, so this will be fun trying to see what I can do with this item.
Although I have yet to begin my project the quality of the sewing is evident. It has saved me hours of work and I’m looking forward to beginning another project with this great product. Thanks for sending me my purchases in such a timely way.
