Light up your Christmas crafts with these fun Tiny Lights designed by Tim Holtz for Idea-ology. The package contains two multicolored tiny light strands. These strands of lights are battery powered. The wires are flexible which makes it easy to place in a variety of projects for all your holiday crafting. These light strands measure 46.5" in length. This package includes two 3 volt lithium batteries.
Unfortunately some of the tiny Lights have a tendency to malfunction. It Lights up good when switching on, but then goes Dark after a little while. Sometimes I catch it blinkning, not shining.
These little multi-colored lights are perfect for adding that vintage vibe to your makes. The slim battery pack makes it easy to hide the mechanics and the wire lights are easy to twist and bend to the shape you want.

Are these lights to big for cards?

the lights are small enough but the battery pack is too big. you would have to have it accessable to the card reciever to turn on and off. There are two other companies that have lights for cards. one involves a circuit and the other is quite easy. search pinterest and you will be able to find them. putting the battery case on the back of the card might work but you wouldn't be able to mail it in a envelope. Amanda's EZ lites at Pear blossom press are the easiest to use on cards

As far as I can tell, there are two button batteries in each unit which do come out. I am assuming they are replaceable because they have a number printed on them, the ease of finding replacements I haven't a clue since my lights are brand new.

The Christmas tiny lights are multi colored, I believe the everyday tiny lights are white I believe. The Halloween tiny lights are orange and a lovely purple. Hope that helps you!
