I WISH I OWNED THIS BOOK!!!! I have seen it first hand and this is seriously a MUST have book! Elsie is a creative GENIUS and just looking at this book inspires you! Everything that she does is colourful, whimsical, unique, eyecatching, just all around inspirational! If ever you are stuck with a nasty case of scrappers block, Elsie can help you out! Or if you just need help taking your scrapping to the next level, Elsie is there! Her challenges give you things to do that you wouldn't normally think of. If you can only do one Elsie assisted layout per week, than in 52 weeks you will be rocking the scrapworld Elsie style! Trust me on this one! If you have ever found yourself staring at a blank layout and unable to come up with one creative idea, then this book is a must. Elsie does a phenominal job of showing fresh new ideas in a wonderful challenge format. With 52 awesome challenges, you will never be caught stuck for an idea. Each challenge is supported by wonderfully put together layouts that are full of special touches you can use on your projects. Even if Elsie's free form approach is not your style, you will be inspired by her use of embellishments and color so that YOU can step out of your box and create something special. I honestly use this book more than any other in my library. It is full of life and full of inspiration!
This was the very first Scrapbook book I got and I still refer back to it all the time. I have done each and every challenge in this book at least 3 times in all different ways. I just love that Elsie has such a free spirit which I found matches my own style as I have evolved over my scrap life. It's so easy to use whether you're a beginner or super advanced and have been scrapping forever. There are quizzes, challenges, ideas, thoughts and all kinds of other fun stuff. I am hoping that she comes out with more books like this one.
I have made it thru to challenge #35 only a few more to do! I have grown so much as a scrapbooker by following her suggestions and challenges. At the end of each chapter Elsie has a questionaire to do, to help find your style. Also, at the end of the book there are "bonus" lay outs. Some of the ideas seemed pretty simple, but when I began to put them onto a layout I really liked the outcome.

I just love elsie and her wonderfully creative, imaginative, and inspirational scrapping style. She is a true artist, and this book gives you the honor of peeking into her life and art. The challenges are so fun, and each one is different. They really push you to try so many different creative ideas. I find myself going back to this book again and again and again and again... Wonderful!!
This is a very FUN book. If you are wanting ideas of how to scrap outside the box and get out of your comfort zone this is the book for you! Lots of bright, pages... several takes on each challenge (which is nice to see -- not everyone has the same style)
I think this is a great book for a scrapper who feels like they are in a rut... or are bored with their pages!
I was not dissappointed with this book! It is chalked to the brim with ideas and inspiration. If you need something colorful to take inspiration from this is the book for you. The book presents you with challanges of course, but you start thinking of other ways to make layouts and it gets your noggin snowballing with ideas!!!!! I love her style so much!
I received this book from a great friend for my birthday & I LOVE IT :) It is one of the best and most inspiring books I have ever owned. This book will get your mojo flowing and also makes you think beyond your comfort zone. It allows you to get creative with amazing innovative tips! I highly recommend it and I can't wait to begin the challenges!
I bought this book after reading numerous 5 star reviews. It is definitely deserving of that. Elsie is so creative and makes scrapbooking less intimidating. She has a fresh style and a simple approach to adding that little extra something to your pages. I am so inspired by this book and I am so excited to use her techniques. Buy it!!!! =)
This book is so much fun. You don't have to like Elsie's style to love the book. The challenges are pretty easy and very fun. This book is great for anyone with any style. I can't stop looking at it and I've had it since it first came out. You will love it!
