Decorating Chalks - 9 Color

Does what it is supposed to...but needs some updating

Chalk is a pretty basic tool, but I am not very impressed with these Decorating Chalks. The colors are okay, but not very inspiring to me. You only get nice in a set and the chalk itself is not very smoothly processed. To me it is like a eyeshadow that is past its shelf life. Not a great texture. My biggest issue is the packaging. The hard plastic case is not very forgiving and makes it incredibly easy for the chalks to break apart and turn into powder. They also crack and bleed into each other too much for my taste. The applicators are nothing special either. All said, this product is very old school for me and does not really inspire me to chalk. I would use my money on another brand (see my other chalk review for my favorite).
