How did I ever fussy cut or trim or outline anything before i got this mat? No wonder I was so frustrated before. This mat is great. I got some shaped chipboard albums a few weeks ago and having this mat made the difference of raggedy edges and the smooth ones I got with the mat and a x-acto knife. Incredibly easy and I'm not that coordinated. You must have one of these if you use chipboard shapes or letters or print out your own titles on the computer. It's awesome!

I had a chance to show off how wonderful this glass mat is at a scrapbook club meeting. Several of the girls had the competitors template and cutter and were having a hard time getting their images to cut without the paper getting stuck in the mat. I offered my mat to be used using their blades and it worked like a charm. It worked so well they both went to buy the glass mat for themselves. I also love the grid lines I use them for everything. Great product.
I just received this for my anniversary, and while it's usually scary when my husband goes off on a whim and buys me something, this time he hit the jackpot. This mat makes all my cuts smooth and perfect. He heard my complaints about the raggedy looking cuts I got when using a self healing mat. With this I will never go back. Works perfect with the curvy cutter he bought me.
I love this mat. I thought I just didn't have the skill or ability to cut well, but the glass mat is a MUST for good cutting. If you need the paper to stay in place, simply put down repositionable adhesive and do you work. When you're done, the adhesive simply rolls or washes off. It seemed like a waste of money at first, but worth every penny to me.
I purchased this glass mat years ago and it has only become more and more handy. I used to use it to scrap in unusual places (on the sofa, floor, etc) because it provided me with a hard surface that I could put on my lap and use as a makeshift table. Now, I find it indispensible when working with ink and other messy projects!
Place a light underneath for use of the rectangles or just use to protect your desk while using your swivel knife or circle cutters. I didn't think this would be a "must have" until I tried it out, and now it is always with me!
I bought this to go with my curvy cutter. This mat makes it cut like a dream. I am so glad I bought it. I put a small amount of removable adhesive dots to hold the paper while I am cutting. You will love this.
This is a great cutting mat! I love that it has the easy to follow grid, and the feet that keep it in place. I use it with my circle cutter and my fiskars shape express! This is always on my table!

Don't buy the circle, oval or shape cutter without also buying this glass mat. It makes system work and cut flawlessly. The packaging is reusable for storage.

I really love this glass mat. It is easy to clean and really tough. It also has handy gridlines to help line up things and to measure with.
