Why aren't these embellishments described as PVC. The description should also explain that PVC can harm photos. I'm glad I found out about this before ordering these leaves for my 170 page family album with photos dating back to 1903. The paper I'm using for the album is almost entirely 49 and Market. Can I be assured that the paper and flowers and embellishments are indeed acid free and PVC free?

Thanks for your question. They are printed on a pvc sheet. Some elements have an opaque white backing while other parts are clear. I hope this helps.

I do not have an answer. I have a thought, however. The composition of paper with color is probably standard in the craft industry. I did not see that any of my choices from any craft paper company states that it is archival. I personally make copies of any photos of value and store the originals appropriately. Once the originals are placed in a decorative album, they are, by definition, going to be exposed over and over to the elements and handling through people turning the pages and exposing them to air and potential accidents. Better to specifically find archival paper and let a professional mount and frame them if you are intent on having the originals be seen. Just a thought.
