Questions & Answers
  • Tell me more about gelato. Do you apply to a palette, direct to paper. Are they like markers. I don't get it yet. Wow! The colors are gorgeous. My style is mostly, stamp, emboss, and water color the images and backgrounds, usually with my stash of radiant pearls.   By: Sharon franzen (06-Apr-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Oh My!! You can do ALL that you asked about with gelatos!

You can apply them directly to stamps then lightly mist the stamp and then stamp directly onto your papers. You can apply gelatos directly to papers and either blend with your fingers tips or lightly mist with water and blend with a brush. I've used them to antique journal pages.

You can rub the gelatos onto a palette and use a wet brush to paint with them like watercolors. You can use them to dye lace or fabric ribbons to match your projects. These are absolutely an amazing water based medium!! Every artist needs to try these. By: LindaM315 (09-Apr-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
