If you love spritzing and spraying, you'll love these Mini Misters spray bottles by Ranger Ink. These misters are sturdy, do not clog and are easy to fill. Create a very fine mist to cover your project as much or as little as you want.
Try filling the mister with water and spraying on top of Tim Holtz Distress Ink (not included) to create an interesting background. It can also be used as an agent to set Perfect Pearls Pigment Powders (not included), to activate watercolor paints or blend watercolor pencils. Give projects a fantastic faux watercolor look when you mist a stamp.
To make your own inks, simply add a few drops of dye inks, reinkers, resist inks, Adirondack Color Wash (not included) or more to your mister and spray away. They are extremely cost-efficient, allowing you to only mix what you need. The different color misters ensure you don't misidentify your sprays. This Tim Holtz-recommended product comes with three mini misters. They are the perfect size to carry to crops and they won't leak.

I had seen these mini misters used on a video at the Ranger site and wanted to try them. I was surprised at how powerful the spray is. I loved mixing Perfect Pearls with water in the sprayers and creating a shimmering surface to my project. I bought the small pack to try them out, but now I will need to get the large set so I can have lots of colors at hand.
The mini spray bottles are a perfect size to hold my 99% rubbing alcohol so I can spray on alcohol inks. I have one for 91% alcohol n one for water. I write what they hold with a sharpie. Perfect to spray water on distressed inks too. The 99% rubbing alcohol is a new technique for acetate n vellum with alcohol inks.
I use these a lot, mostly doing shimmer spraying. I'm using Perfect Pearls dusts with water and ink, the Tim Holtz way, and the nozzles have never clogged up.
They are small and handy. It's easy to pump, your wrist wont go shaky after five pumps. The mist is really fine, just make sure you don't hold your project too close to the nozzle.
If you have many it will probably not be long until you will want to buy the stand that goes with it. Or, I've seen some really nifty home made ones in the galleries here.
I could complain that it is sometimes hard to direct the spray precisely, since the little vent is almost invisible, but I just love these too much to give them any minus points.

I love making my own shimmer mist using the mini mister, distress reinker, and a scoop of perfect pearls. So versatile!
Great for watercoloring, spritzing stamps, etc. Easy to use and no problems with filling or leaking.
This is a product I never thought I needed. In fact I got 3 for free at a class taught by Tim- he gives away the products after the last class so he doesn't have to haul it all home. I never use them until this spring. I took Creative Chemistry 101 and learned who to make my own mists. Yes I had seen the videos on-line for making knock-off mists but I wasn't interested. I loved the Glimmer Mists I had. But we lost our LSS and now getting a much needed color quickly is impossible. Plus once I saw how gorgeous and custom the home-made mists can be I ordered 3 more Mini Misters and the holder for them with the intention of making more mists. The misters work very well.
PERFECT for making your own mists! fill them with water, add any ink refill (I love tim holtz distress inks, but you can use whichever you prefer) and voilá! you can also use them with water only for water colouring or with perfect pearls.
The mini misters by Ranger give a finer mist than even the distress spray inks do. I make a solution of one-third ink(from a distress ink) and two-thirds water. Great for cards and layouts.
Just recently I decided to try distressing on my hand made cards. Watching a video with Tim Holtz who does a lot of projects with Ranger Inks, he says that after using a Distressing Ink on the edges of die-cuts, to spray them with a water mist. Have you tried looking for a little bottle that sprays just a very fine mist? Well I have; I couldn't find any in several local craft stores. I searched on Scrapbook.com and saw they sell Ranger Ink Mini-Mister Bottles. You can also use these to spray a mist of ink.
I really like these little mister bottles for Shimmer Mist, they have a much finer spray.

Can you put Dylusions paint with water to make a spray paint?

Even though Dylusions paint is really fluid, I would be concerned that it would clog up the sprayer on the Mini Mister. You can use ink and water in a Mini Mister but that paint might not work as well.
