This Amalgam Obsidian ink cube is from Gina K Designs. This ink cube features a raised pad surface to accommodate a variety of stamps (sold separately). This ink does not bleed and has a dark, vibrant color. This ink needs extra drying time for a minute or two before setting or it can be heat set. I haaaaate using black ink on my stamps, only to have them STAINED!!! 😡😡😡 A while back I purchased a variety of Gina K’s ink cubes to try out. Last week doing Halloween cards, I decided to try this black ink out on a new stamp set. I couldn’t believe how easily and completely I was able to clean the black ink off my stamps! 💃💃💃💃💃💃Happy Dance!!!! Plus….I watercolored over the ink plus used markers and Copic markers with NO smearing or bleeding! I can’t recommend this cube highly enough. BUY ONE!!! I’ll be getting a full size pad ASAP. I was disappointed after seeing such praise for this inkpad, because mine arrived mostly dried out. Needed 4 tries to get a fully stamped image. I left it to dry for over an hour, but it still smeared with my copic alcohol markers.
