Best Results:

  • To achieve the best results from this machine, when applying foil to items of varying thicknesses, (which require different temperature settings) start with your thinner items first. The machine does not cool down as quickly as it heats up.
  • Ensure all toner is covered by the foil sheet before inserting it into the machine.

You are going to love this compact machine and you will be foiling all your projects in no time.

    Great foiling machine

I love the look of foil, but being on a fixed income, I can't justify the expense of getting the system and individual plates. So, I was excited when Gina introduced the Fuse foiling system. Now I can make beautifully foiled cards using my stencils as well as toner cards, without the expense of buying plates. It does a great job and is so versatile that I can justify the expense.

    Amethyst

The machine is adorable. I love how fast it heats up. With that being said, hot foiling is still hit or miss.

    Love it

After many years of pondering and investigating. Gina K. came out with an affordable and terrific foiling machine. I refused to invest in a system that required the purchase of expensive plates. I love this purple baby. It performs as advertised and is most affordable. The compact size makes it easy to store and use on a desktop. I love it!!! Thanks, Scrapbook, for having stock when all others are sold out.

    Great foiling system

So easy to use. Very compact. Heats up quickly. Haven’t tried the “cold” setting yet, been having too much fun with the hot foiling. Love the samples that were included in the kit. Scrapbook.com made it super easy to order and received it very quickly.

  • Gina K Designs Fuse system

The plastic carrier that came with the fuse did not move through the laminator smoothly. It got stuck and I had to pull it out. The carrier and the image I was trying to foil were crinkled. I might not have put the carrier sheet in straight. It looked like it was rubbing on one side of the opening.

The thermoweb carrier sheet worked fine.

    Love the FUSE

I love this FUSE. First time user, takes some time to figure out all the different bits. Gina K has fabulous instructional videos on YouTube which helped me a lot. This was a great value, in that it included all the bits to get your started right out of the box. I love that there are several different heat settings. My cheapie Amazon version was returned after one use - just not hot enough - the FUSE is perfect.

I am new to foil machines. What do the rollers have to do with the foil. What will 4 rollers do that two cant do? Also what does the shimmer do that Gina Ks machine doesnt do? Appreciate your time and knowledge.   By: User (25-Feb-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hello, Gina K has an amazing Introduction Video on YouTube for the fuse machine and states in the video that the reason for the 4 rollers is because it provides twice the heat and twice the pressure of a standard office laminator. The 4 rollers have extra heat and extra pressure and you get heat from the top and bottom. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine uses a different type of foil and you use Glimmer Plates with it to get the design while with the Gina K Fuse machine, you use Toner Sheets. • Does this work just like the Minc?   By: MistyRN (11-Jan-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Thank you!! I have the Minc, but love the color of this one!! Need it if it is like the Minc :) I have the hot plate one from Crafter's and don't like it. The minc is so much easier to use! By: MistyRN (12-Jan-24) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Hello, the way this machine works will be similar to the Minc as they are both Lamination foiling systems while the Spellbinders Glimmer and Crafters Companion FoilPress are a platform foiling systems.
