This package of 2 thin metal Slider Pop Up dies is designed by Heffy Doodle for a standard sized or A2 card. The first die is designed to create the main mechanism and the second die creates the pull panel. It is recommended you fold on all the crease lines made with this die for your interactive project to function correctly. The pull panel die will create 2 notches to show where to trim the paper. The pull panel has both rounded and square corners. This die set is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately).
This card is just so easy to do manually, I don't see any time savings by using the die.
No instructions are provided for the dies use. I believe it needs to have part of it snipped away, but even after doing so, the insert piece that is snipped away, doesn't cut the top portion of the cardstock piece, Maybe you are supposed to align it with the top of the cardstock? There's no way to cut a backing piece with the die, so that has to be manually cut anyway.
Look, it works & it does cut the front panel, puts nice stitched detail along outside edge too.
It's a fun card to make, just think it should include 1 more die for the rear cardstock piece & a complete insert (mechanism piece) that cuts across the top. Otherwise fun & easy card to make! Lots of YouTube videos on making this pop-up slider card manually. Enjoy!
