There are many ways to use this marker. You can wet it with a water brush to shade. You can hold the marker at an angle to color wide areas. You can hold the marker straight up to draw a thin line. You can wet the tip of the marker with water to produce multiple gradations of one color. You can also mix the colors of these markers. First, you apply one color and before it dries, add another color over it to create a color gradation. You can also apply a darker colored ink directly onto the tip of a lighter colored marker to create a gradation when you draw with the light color.
