I love the smooth texture of this paper and it is absolutely wonderful for stamping. Distress Inks show up amazingly well on this paper and go on incredibly smooth. I stamped some intricate designs on a page and the result was fantastic.
Caveat emptor.... as an FYI, if you're looking for paper to use with Copic Markers, go with the XPress blending paper. It's awesome for Copics. LaBlanche, not so much. The colors show up well, but the blending is blotchy and streaky. The paper isn't made for Copics, but I've seen a few negative reviews for this paper because it's bad for Copics. So keep in mind that Copics (and other alcohol based markers) don't work on this paper.
But it's absolutely gorgeous for stamps and Distress Inks!!
This paper is so smooth! You can blend your distress inks on it with no big over-colored smudges; this paper allows you to keep on blending in those spongy looking mistakes.
However, the look is SMOOTH. The paper allows the distress inks to have "wet time" for blending; it is great for adding all different colors and having them merge into each other beautifully. If you are looking for a rustic look, stick to cardstock with the distressed inks.
When using the LaBlanche stamps and Archival Ink, the result on this paper is amazing.
