This Cloud 9 Metallic Interference Ink, Sapphire Gold Shimmer is from Lisa Horton Crafts. This ink is a highly pigmented dye and pigment ink. This is a metallic, shimmery ink pad with an interference color. This ink is perfect for faux bleaching techniques. This ink is also perfect for use with stencils, blending, and stamping. This ink will change color on different colors of cardstock, which is the "interference color" this ink pad produces.
These work well but do be patient... ink has to be completely dry for the effect to show. At first I thought they weren't working and it did take a bit of time to dry so you need to wait. Then be pleasantly surprised!
These inks are really something different. Takes a little getting used to, but if you want a slight metallic shimmer on white card stock, these inks will do it. The color on the left of the label is what will show on white card stock, where as the color on the right of the label is what shows on black card stock. It also changes the hand of the paper. Makes it feel like it has more body, like a finishing touch.
I couldn't believe how beautiful this ink is. The way the light makes the color change is stunning..
