This punch will only work with one sheet of thin, lightweight paper. Even then, it tends to get stuck and you ruin the paper trying to get it out.
Even when only using one thin sheet of paper it jams or locks. Then you have to remove the ruined paper and unjam the puncher. I was excited to purchase this item but I'm regretting the money I spent. However I use, enjoy and recommend the planner and other products that MAMBI Ideas sells through Scrapbook.com.
I tried another brand of the disc bound punch, and it was a joke! The price was holding me back, but I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. I could not be happier!
I love owning this punch because I can put any piece of paper in my Happy Planner. It works great. I've had it for awhile and haven't had any problems.
I purchased this 1 week ago, and boy am I happy I did. It make's it so much easier, to add Page's, envelopes and tag's, to your planer. I love it and recommend this to any planner lover's

Even though I have an Arc punch, the depth is smaller, and although this is limited to number of pages to punch, much better for sitting on HP discs. If you are going to bother printing inserts, punching is part of the fun.
Buy some covers and some discs and make unlimited booklets.

Is there a way to sharpen the hole punches. I have the big pink one and I think its getting a bit dull. (I do use it a lot!!)

This is a good question. I would suggest punching through tin foil. 
Okay... the blue one has 9 holes and the pink one 11 holes... are the holes the same size?

Hi there! Yes they are the same size. The blue punch is the Classic and the 'punching length' is 9.25in/23.5cm and the pink is the Big Grand with a 'punching length' of 11in/28cm.

How do I clear a paper jam that will not come out?

When my hole puncher jammed I took the plastic back off. Then I used a regular toothpick to push the paper out of the holes. I was very careful not to break the toothpick. When I was done I opened and closed the hole puncher a couple of times to make sure all the paper was out of the hole puncher. Also I regularly use a toothpick to clean out the hole puncher and it helps it from jamming as often as it used to. Also when you are cleaning or checking your hole puncher after it jams make sure all the gray pieces are down before using it again. On mine two locked and I gently pushed them back down with the toothpick. I hope this helps, Sincerely Sara Welch
