I'm a beginner, and, when I saw a friend using the Making Memories foam stamps with their acrylic paints, I was amazed by how easy it was. The stamps and paint create that fancy "professional" look that seemed so unattainable to me before. The stamps also come in their own little plastic carrying case that looked really flimsy to me, but, my friend has taken her paints & stamps with her when she scraps away from home, and, her paint & stamps are still nicely contained in their little carrying case. These particular stamps, the Floral-Dingbat stamps, create an image large enough to adorn the corners of scrapbook pages and to create borders, and the flourishes are just so beautiful!
These stamps are so versatile...I can't believe how inexpensive they are! I use them with paint and ink. The foam allows you to put pressure on each part of the stamp to get an even image (unlike my experience w/ some wood mounted stamps). If using ink, you just need a very light layer of paint--use a brush to brush it on instead of dipping it in the paint. I've used them with dye and pigment ink, both times with good success. I've stained them with so many inks by not cleaning them right away, and they still work as well as they did brand new. I use them all the time!

I love these stamps. They are so versatile. They wash off easily and were very inexpensive. I did loose some dots that were part of one of the stamps because I didn't realize that the stamp part can come unglued from the foam backing.

These stamps are just awesome - I use them all the time! They are such great shapes and add the finishing touch to any project - I have had them for over a year, used them all the time and they have lasted really well.
These are fun and easy to use, but be careful when you wash them, some parts may fall off - but then again it's just to glue them on again....
I've used them a lot and not tired of them yet;)
